Constructed in 1907, this beautiful church was the premier location to hosts weddings, rectials, and concerts. The building is known for its remarkable curved pews, stained glass portraits, and the hanging chandelier that has been there for the past seventy years. Although the building has sustained damage from recent storms, the church has received grants from the National Registery for Historical Buildings in order to help preserve the building to its natural element. The Wood Avenue Presyterian Church congregation is proud to have retained the same minister for the last forty years and still holds services twice a month.
